Please note, the Gun Sense Candidate distinction is not an endorsement from Moms Demand Action or Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund and should not be represented as such. Instead, it is a signal to our supporters, volunteers and voters across the country that a candidate advocates for gun violence prevention and will govern with gun safety in mind.

Receiving the distinction also allows local Moms Demand Action volunteers to participate in any publicly listed field events that your campaign hosts.  Please note that volunteer chapters cannot directly coordinate with any campaign in developing field events, they do not organize campaign fundraising events, and that volunteering for any candidate is solely at the discretion of volunteers.
